Stereoctopus
Made for a contest of Tripulante magazine cover (Guadalajara, Mexico) that talks about culture, leisure and tourism. I got first place in popular votes, mostly mexican, that was important for me to know that I was not insulting and that my ideas were well received. I made a small mix of stereotypes you see in Guadalajara or Mexico, from far and near. Here we give a religion, cuisine, music, casinos, sport, the "table dances", the Luchas libres, traffic and many other crazy things mixed implied. All this in a joke about a version of the classic Aztec calendar (who say that it is neither a calendar) to close with a flourish all these classic icons we have, or think we see Mexico (Guadalajara).
